Atlanta Bartlett

I couldn't help noticing that Saltwater's spring collection glimpsed below had been shot at the home of Atlanta Bartlett, someone I could call my true style icon. This led me to discover her website, which hadn't come to my attention before. You will absolutely have to take a look for tons of beauty and her latest creations. And I see she has recently brought out a new book!


En voinut olla huomaamatta, että alla esitelty Saltwaterin kevätmallisto oli kuvattu Atlanta Bartlettin kotona, jonka tyyliä ja tuotoksia herkeämättä ihailen. Samaan hengenvetoon löysin hänen kauniit kotisivunsa, jotka eivät ainakaan ennen olleet tulleet minulle vastaan. Käykää ihmeessä kurkkaamassa, sieltä saa paljon sulokkaita maistiaisia. Uusi kirjakin on häneltä näemmä vasta ilmestynyt!

Spring at Saltwater

On Saturday we visited the town of Porvoo. My ambitious souvenir wishes of an old chandelier and a couple of wooden chairs weren't quite met, as all of the second hand shops had already closed by the time we made it there. But we came back with some relaxed small-town charm, satisfied stomachs and goodies from the local chocolate factory.

Lauantaina teimme pikaisen pyrähdyksen Porvooseen. Tuliaistoiveina oli vaatimattomasti vanha kristallikruunu ja pari puutuolia, mutta pääsimme perille vasta sen verran myöhään, että vanhan tavaran puodit olivat jo kiinni. Mukaan saimme kuitenkin pikkukaupungin leppoisaa tunnelmaa, täysinäiset vatsat ja Brunbergin herkkuja.

Dream tiles

One day I would love to have tiles like these in the kitchen or bathroom! When I came across these pictures from two separate homes I had to post them here as a mental reminder.

Juuri tällaiset laatat haluaisin joku päivä, kylppäriin tai keittiöön, ihan sama! Kun nämä kahdesta eri kodista olevat kuvat tulivat vastaan oli ne ihan pakko tallettaa tänne muistiin.
