Shabby walls, panel doors, lino floors, lack of storage space and bookshelves, under the shadow of church steeples, peaceful inneryard, practicing the new school route, cooking on a gas stove, evening baths, contentment - our new, old, worn, dear home is all that and more. Tossing over renovation plans, but a feeling that there's all the time in the world. Good to be here and now, close by, settled.
Pinttyneitä seinäpintoja, peiliovia, kattokoristeita, muovimattoja, säilytystilan ja kirjahyllyn puutetta, kirkon kupeessa, sisäpihan rauhaa, koulumatkaan totuttelua, kaasuhellalla kokkailua, kylpyhetkiä, onnentunnetta - sitä ja kaikkea muuta on uusi, vanha, kulahtanut, rakas kotimme. Remonttisuunnitelmat risteilevät päässä, mutta kiirettä ei tunnu. Hyvä olla tässä ja nyt, ulottuvilla, asettunut.
